Like the New Orleans street music it offers, Ramène Ta Trompette was formed around the streets and squares of the pink city of Toulouse, and now extends its territory wherever it is welcomed. The band consists of Clarinet – Mathieu Viry, Trombone – Fanny Schubnel, Tuba – Coline Lemarchand, Banjo/Vocals – Valentin Oustiakine and Washboard/Vocals – Nora Berthelot
Each time, the group invites a different trumpet player to become the storyteller of the orchestra (in this case: Jérôme Arlet, Bastien Servoz and Jean-Louis Laclavère), by matching their musical universe to the secular repertoire and style of New Orleans music, with their gourmet and elaborate recipes, as well as their share of individual and collective improvisation. which gave birth to jazz. Vocals, clarinet, trombone, banjo, tuba and washboard accompany the trumpet and draw the audience into the sounds and warmth of Louisiana.
This third video is taken from their latest concert at the Bar L’Impro in Toulouse and was recorded in May 2023. On this occasion the trumpet was supplied by Bastien Servoz.
