Rachael Sage – Catch The Light

It was almost three years ago when a Facebook post from Nick Hall brought Rachael Sage to my attention. She and her violinist Kelly Halloran (we shall hear more from Kelly in a future post) were touring the UK and needed a venue for a gig. My offer of St. C’s was readily accepted and at the beginning of September Rachael and Kelly duly arrived. It proved to be a tremendous night with both Plumhall and Rachael bringing their ‘A’ games. It was also a big night for our own Tilly Stothart who was able to open evening with a selection of her songs.

It was amazing to have an artiste of her calibre appearing at our venue in Wrose, but she must have enjoyed it because she returned for another concert in 2019. Rachael who has release 18 albums over the last few years, has performed with some of the great names of modern music from Judy Collins and Carole King to 80’s star Howard Jones. She has been a constant supporter of the causes of justice and anti-poverty. So, here is another stunning track from Rachael with which to brighten your day.
