Today we journey back to a time before the Beatles when French cinema and pop music was beginning to come into vogue through the likes of Roger Vadim and Johnny Hallyday. Gillian Hills found herself caught up in this world as a young teenager, making both films with Adam Faith and appearing on the same bill as Johnny Hallyday. She had a number of hit singles with Zou Bisou Bisou being the most memorable. The song was given a new lease of life when it appeared in the premier of the fifth season of the Amercian series ‘Mad Men’. This one is an absolute ear worm and I expect that you will be humming it all day after this.
